Mike brings 25 years’ experience leading, managing and nurturing technology and innovation companies in the US and Asia, ranging from incubation and leadership of startups to general management of $200m technology businesses. Mike is Managing Partner of Get2Volume, a Singapore and Silicon Valley technology incubation and advisory firm. Previously, Mike held engineering, marketing and product line management positions at Texas Instruments and Silicon Systems.

Dr Ronald Ling

Ronald is a medically-qualified senior business executive with more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare management, investment and consulting. He has deep knowledge of healthcare systems across a range of Asian markets and extensive operational experience in enhancing productivity, access and cost-effectiveness in healthcare. Ronald’s prior work experience includes positions as Leader of Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ Healthcare practice across Asia, Partner at Symphony Capital Partners (an Asian private equity firm), Board of Director at Parkway Holdings (a large pan-Asian private healthcare provider) and as a consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Jen Kwong Hwa

Jen is currently an angel investor and business advisor to startups and SMEs. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Micron Semiconductors in Singapore and an engineer by training. He started his career in Texas Instruments in 1979 and joined Micron in 1998 following Micron’s acquisition of TI’s memory business. He has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry and has been involved in shaping Singapore’s national strategic initiatives in this area. He is member of the Board of Advisors to the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association, member of the Governing Council of Singapore Institute of Management and serves on the boards of several startups.

Geogy Zachariah

Geogy has more than 20 years’ experience in the Information and Technology industry in Singapore and has deep experience in product engineering, platform operations and managing internal and external development teams. Over the last 5 years he has held leadership roles at Sprooki (a startup company focused on platform development for retail clients to enhance shopper engagement and loyalty, subsequently acquired by the Invigor Group). Previous engineering leadership roles spanned across OCBC, Sybase and Quark. Geogy brings to ConnectedHealth a combination of deep engineering skills and strong customer focus with a proven track-record of high quality execution through lean implementation teams.

Lim Mui Lan

Mui Lan is a registered nurse with more than 40 years’ experience in patient care in Singapore and Australia. Most recently, Mui Lan spent 8 years as a Diabetic Nurse Educator at Changi General Hospital where she helped patients across all areas of diabetes care.

Mui Lan’s deep practical experience allows her to support patients with specific advice on how to better control blood glucose levels through lifestyle changes. Having worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team she naturally collaborates with physicians, dieticians and other clinical staff to provide relevant patient support in line with care plans.

Mui Lan is a registered nurse with more than 40 years’ experience in patient care in Singapore and Australia. Most recently, Mui Lan spent 8 years as a Diabetic Nurse Educator at Changi General Hospital where she helped patients across all areas of diabetes care.

Mui Lan’s experience also includes a significant amount of educational work – explaining the disease process, medications and how to prevent complications in a way which patients can immediately relate to.

In her earlier career, Mui Lan worked as Senior Staff Nurse in a variety or roles, as a Nurse Manager at SingHealth Polyclinics and as a Parent Craft Nurse Educator. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) degree from Curtin University of Technology.

Chan Man Ee

Man Ee has spent a third of her 30-over years as a registered nurse in the community performing health coaching. In addition she has 3 years’ experience as a Diabetes Nurse at Changi General Hospital and a post-graduate diploma in Diabetes Care from the University of Leicester and a BSc (Nursing) from Curtin University.

Over her many years in the community, Man Ee has supported patients in all practical aspects of diabetes care, including self-monitored blood glucose readings, medication and meal timings. She also has significant experience in diabetes education to convince patients of the benefits of structured monitoring.

Man Ee believes in a patient-centred approach to motivating and enabling persons with diabetes to take ownership of their own self-management. She is always culturally sensitive and collaborative, using creative solutions to overcome any unique self-management challenges.

Over her career, Man Ee has received several good service awards, reflecting positive feedback from her satisfied clients.  A firm believer in a multidisciplinary care for diabetes, Man Ee collaborates closely with her nursing colleagues, dieticians, physiotherapists and physicians to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Krithy Pillay

Krithy has over 15 years experience in the Australian Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical industry A highly qualified and respected professional with a proven track record of increasing sales and market share, Krithy has exceptional knowledge of developing strategic plans for service excellence. 

Krithy holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. Her prior work experience has been as Territory Manager for Medtronic and Roche Pharmaceuticals. In her earlier career after finishing university, Krithy worked as a dietitian at International SOS providing advice to patients on weight loss and how to manage their comorbidities. 

Krithy brings to ConnectedHealth her wealth of  knowledge and experience from the medical industry, including partnering with doctors and health professionals to provide patient-focused solutions.

Dr Tan Chee Eng

Dr Tan, Consultant Endocrinologist at Gleneagles Medical Centre Singapore, is Advisor to ConnectedHealth for Diabetes and has been closely involved with the design of SugoSure from inception.  He has been managing patients with diabetes mellitus, cholesterol problems and obesity for the past 21 years and is a firm believer in the benefits of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle changes in management of chronic metabolic diseases.

Dr Tan holds an MBBS and Masters in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore and a PhD from the University of Glasgow.  He is a founder member of the Executive Council for the Asian Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease and was previously involved in both the Lipid Guidelines and Diabetes guidelines committees of the Ministry of Health, Singapore.  

Dr Kevin Tan Eng Kiat

Dr Kevin Tan is a keen diabetes educator and lectures extensively on diabetes, thyroid problems and other endocrine/hormone issues. He is also President of Diabetes Singapore, a member of the Endocrine and Metabolic Society of Singapore and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He was a member of the National Diabetes Strategy Advisory Committee and now sits on Advisory Boards to various pharmaceutical companies.

Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1987 and is a fellow with both the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine in Singapore.  He was trained locally at Singapore General, Alexandra and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals as well as the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK.

Dr. Bee Yong Mong

Dr. Bee is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) with more than 15 years of experience in treating patients with diabetes. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and received specialist training in Endocrinology both locally and in USA. He has keen interest in integrating technology-enabled solutions in routine diabetes care and is currently working on several projects with industry partners.  Dr. Bee is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) with more than 15 years of experience in treating patients with diabetes. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and received specialist training in Endocrinology both locally and in USA. He has keen interest in integrating technology-enabled solutions in routine diabetes care and is currently working on several projects with industry partners. 

He is concurrently the Head of SingHealth Duke-NUS Diabetes Centre and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. He is also the Vice-President of Diabetes Singapore. As a member of ConnectedHealth’s Singapore Medical Advisory Board he advises the company on clinical issues. 

Dr Cindy Ng

Dr Cindy Ng is Principal Physiotherapist and Clinical Coordinator at the Obesity Metabolic Unit of Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Lifestyle Improvement and Fitness Enhancement (LIFE) Centre.  Dr Ng has a keen interest in exercise physiology and the impact of exercise on chronic disease. She works with multi-disciplinary teams at SGH LIFE Centre to promote integrated and holistic care for patients with multiple co-morbidities.  Dr Cindy Ng is Principal Physiotherapist and Clinical Coordinator at the Obesity Metabolic Unit of Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Lifestyle Improvement and Fitness Enhancement (LIFE) Centre.  Dr Ng has a keen interest in exercise physiology and the impact of exercise on chronic disease. Besides using evidence-based approaches, Dr Ng believes in empowering patients to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Dr Ng has been extensively involved in research pertaining to Obesity, Diabetes, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease as well as Eating Disorders, with several peer-reviewed journal publications.

She obtained her PhD (Physiotherapy) from Curtin University in 2014. Dr Ng is also an Assistant Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology and on the teaching faculty for the SGH Postgraduate Allied Health Institute. He was formerly Head of Endocrinology at Singapore General Hospital, where he started the first Lipid unit in Singapore and also pioneered the electronic medical record for diabetes mellitus consultation.
